A few weeks ago I swapped out one of my demi-shelves for a full-sized one, and with that came the inevitable Spring Rearrange. I love my space. I love scattering green, growing things around it and lighting candles and throwing the windows open so I can hear the birds in the trees just outside the fence. I love being surrounded by stories wrapped in paper covers and I love being able to scribble my signature all over the walls (metaphorically. At least until I get chalkboard paint for the wall behind my desk). It’s the place where I recharge, the place that inspires me…and moving those shelves around is a real chore.

  1. (I totally enlarged those images and looked at the books on your shelves)

(and oh my word you have Phantom Stallion books. I knew you had read them but I didn’t know if you actually owned any. You’re so awesome XD)

  2. *AH* I’ll have to take a picture of my ”ever changing wall art” which is also known as my necklace caddy (it looks a lot like yours, only mine is my grandfather’s tie-organizer so the hooks are much smaller) *FANTASTIC FIST BUMP* and I am so absolutely stealing the idea of growing a plant in one of those ‘oversized mason jars with handles’ cos how cool is it to see the roots? Answer, VERY.

  3. Your bookshelves are just amazing. And your whole room is rather fabulous (clean desk! Omg! I can only vaguely remember seeing what my desk looks like under 24902 craft projects). xD

  4. Your bedroom is magical. Absolutely magical. I love all the little things! They add a certain touch. <3

How did you do the muchness quote? Is that a sticker or did you write it up there?

  5. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: I love your room! It’s so bright and cheerful and functional and cute and full of YOU! And you have SO MUCH COOL STUFF!!! The Bible says we’re not supposed to covet, but, um….I may or may not be breaking that rule atm. X)

Haha is that five different Totoro figurines I spot, or no? I’ve never watched the movie, so I’m a little unsure. :P ;D

  6. I adore looking at people’s bookshelves, and yours did not disappoint. Shout-out to the Nancy Drew section at the bottom; I enjoyed those in elementary school! :) Lovely pictures, all!
